Furthermore Mr Hedley was looking to install a new MOT bay for his garage and being a previous customer of V-Tech Garage Equipment he decided to return to them. V-Tech then provided and installed a class 4 ATL pit bay, just what Mr Hedley was looking for.
Scotby Motor Services is a quaint sized garage which needed to offer MOT testing as a service. V-Tech recommended the installation of the Class 4 ATL Pit Bay, allowing plenty of space and adhering to VOSA specifications. With a small amount of room to work from Mr Hedley was unsure if the bay would fit. With some excellent work, careful planning from the V-Tech CAD team it was decided the pit bay would fit. After the installation Mr Hedley commented;
“So many other companies told me it couldn’t be done, now there all visiting our garage taking photos.”
The installation went well, completing the project in the given timeframe, it was important to be fast and efficient during installation, but careful planning and skilled technicians allowed for this. It’s important during a project to liaise with the customer, share technical drawings and specifications to make sure the job is done correctly. The manager of Scotby Motor Services when on to say; ‘V-Tech were not afraid to give us technical drawings like the others”.
V-Tech’s Class 4 ATL pit installation included a pit based ATL bay, radius plates, play detector, Jacking beam, head beam setter, brake tester and a combi smoke & gas analyser machine. Before the V-Tech Technicians left the site, they offered some advice to Mr Hedley regarding the external monitor for the combi machine, Scotby Motor Services now has a 42 inch tv wall mounted delivering easy to read information to the mechanics. The garage simply looks stunning. Thomas Hedley finished by saying;
